LEWISTOWN/MIFFLINTOWN — Whether you’re heading to the ballpark, the theater, or just trying to navigate the bridge work, here is your guide to the next 72 hours in the Juniata Valley.

🎭 Culture: "Cinderella" Takes the Stage

The Juniata High School Drama Club premieres its reimagining of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella this weekend. With a modern twist on the classic tale, this is a "don't miss" event for families.

• Showtimes: Friday, March 13 @ 7 PM | Saturday, March 14 @ 7 PM | Sunday, March 15 @ 3 PM.

⚾ Sports: The Cross-County Scrimmage

High school baseball is back. Mifflin County and Juniata are set to test their rosters in a high-stakes scrimmage this afternoon.

• When: Friday, March 13.
• Where: Varsity will be at Juniata High School at 4:00 PM. (JV will play at Capouillez Field at 4:15 PM).
• Editor’s Note: With the damp week we've had, always double-check with the school's athletic department for last-minute field changes or postponements.

🏎️ Racing: The Wait Continues

If you were planning on heading to the Port Royal Speedway this Saturday, hold your horses. Due to saturated grounds, the season opener has been pushed to Saturday, March 21.

• The Silver Lining: This makes the March 21 opener a massive "double-header" of sorts, featuring the 410 Sprints and the PA Posse.

🚧 Traffic: The "Bridge Bottleneck"

If your weekend plans involve crossing between Lewistown and the Terrace, plan for an extra 10–15 minutes.

• The Site: Mifflin County Veterans Memorial Bridge (Rt. 103).
• The Restriction: Traffic is down to one lane in each direction.
• The Impact: Expect the heaviest slowing during the "Musical Rush" around 6:30 PM tonight and Saturday.

• Friday: Mostly cloudy, highs near 52°F. Perfect for early-season baseball.
